hayyyyyy. i had a busy weekend, kind of ! on friday, i’m pretty sure i didn’t do anything- maybe took some naps? i probably took an intense nap, and i leveled my shitty hunter alt from 68 to almost 70 (i did refer-a-friend with someone for my hunter and got from level 30 to level 60 in two days and as a result i have no idea how to play a hunter and am wearing like… level 40 rings). i also tamed a dumb corehound to replace brenda, my old tallstrider.
on saturday, christina and i actually got our shit together and did our laundry. we took a billion loads down to the laundromat and did some work at the coffee shop next door (sorrrrryyyy green line but i’m sick and didn’t feel like walking two blocks. if it helps, i didn’t enjoy it). i actually had a project to work on for work and i got like, 5% of it finished. i did have a hot apple cider though ! when we were done, we came back home and jess came down from new york for a conference ! she’s staying with us until tuesday.
okay, i didn’t actually get a picture of them together, so that is an artist’s rendering. they went out to a dance thing (i don’t goooo to dance things !) and mouse and i went to eat dinner at adobe in manayunk. we had a really good time, of course, but it was hard to eat when i couldn’t breathe and i couldn’t really taste much. i theoretically got the seitan tips sandwich and a side of guacamole but i don’t think i even finished half of it !
we came back to my house after and hung out with the ladies for awhile, and then watched some episodes of it’s always sunny in philadelphia, which i used to truly hate and have come around on. after mouse went home, i accidentally robo tripped and jess and christina came home to me sadly singing along with “a whole new world” and saying stuff like, “tom petty writes the most beautiful songs” (????)
then we watched 90s videos on youtube (including this super weird video of method man and this lilith fair band performing together).
on sunday, mouse and i were supposed to wake up early to have an adventure, but i barely slept because of my stupid cold, so he let me sleep in a little. then we went out to french creek state park where i couldn’t do much because i couldn’t breathe, but we took some pictures !

oh also we parked at a picnic site in the middle of the woods and there was an old fat guy there laying on a picnic table like a playboy centerfold, staring at us ! it creeped me out pretty bad. after we left, i went to whole foods where i panicked and got some lemons and like, prepared food instead of any of the stuff i actually needed.
annnnnnnnnd now i’m at work, still feeling sick, but now with a thousand things to do. hayyyy.

i think it’s super funny, but it wasn’t really that funny to have happen- i felt like i couldn’t move but also couldn’t sleep, and was magically and romantically moved by ‘barely breathing’ by duncan sheik, and got all depressed.
